what is mogging?
Mogging means overwhelmingly out-looking someone — being so much more attractive in a moment that you “mog” them. It comes from the looksmaxxing corner of the internet, where “mog” (short for AMOG, “alpha male of the group”) got shortened and memeified.
where mogging came from
The term grew out of looksmaxxing forums and blew up on TikTok, where people jokingly “mog” their friends in photos. It stopped being serious almost immediately and became a bit — you mog someone by simply standing next to them looking unbothered.
Like most terminally-online slang, the joke is that everyone uses it ironically while half-meaning it.
how to use it
“he just mogged the entire room.” “stop mogging me in the group photo.” It’s a flex and a self-own at the same time, which is exactly why it works on a t-shirt.
